Yesterday, I had the pleasure of interviewing Soul singer Leela James. She has an album coming out this summer titled "In The Spirit of Etta James", which feature Leela putting her own twist on classic Etta James songs. During our convo, we spoke about that album, the state of R&B in her eyes, the migration of Soul music to England and more. I really enjoyed chopping it up with her and getting her opinion on those topics and more.
