Raekwon "Shaolin vs Wu-Tang" Out Today!... Go Get some of that ..Bon Jovi

Terrible Tuesdays, are Tuesdays that happen a couple of times a year where you feel terrible knowing that you don't have enough money to buy ALL THE FIYAH albums that dropped that day.  Well, I gots me a goods jobs nows momma, sos I's can gets what I wants!  No doubt about it, I'm definitely picking up a copy of that new Raekwon album "Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang" *SHINGGG*!  The Chef made a strong comeback in 09' with the highly acclaimed OB4CL2 and he's definitely proceeded to take more steps in the right direction with this release.  Expect to have this in rotation for a long time.  Are you #TeamLupe or #TeamRaekwon?  Personally, I'm selfish and ain't no "I" team, so I'm bumping both albums till the system cracks...

Raekwon "Rock N Roll" ft. Ghostface Killah, Jim Jones & Kobe (Prod. DJ Khalil)

3.8.11 is pure Judgement Day at this point. After hearing Lupe's "Words I Never Said" and now this "Rock n Roll" track by The Chef, I too hyped. This is essentially the equivalent to dropping MvC3 and SSFV (not even announed to be in the works yet) on the same dayum day. From jump, the beat is crazy. Its dark, its gritty, but its also jamming. This you got Kobe with some simplistically catchy hook'n and I ain't mad at that one bit. I hear Rae taking the 1st round and I'm instantly in. Ghostface steps up to bat and knocks it out the park. He kinda sounds Jay-ish, but then Jay kinda sounds somebody else-ish every once in a while. Even Jimmy does a full verse. How crazy is that?!?

Raekwon Talks about Nas Collabo

“I [saw] Nas across seas, we had a show together, and we talked about a lot of things,” Rae explained about how the two linked up. ”We went from A-Z how we felt about things what was goin on at the time, and by the grace of God we was able to get this thing happenin’ again. That was definitely one of the surprise things that I wanted to alert the fans with, just to let em know that my brother came up to air for me and I know through his busy schedule I guess in the back of his mind he was like ‘Yo I gotta come up for Rae.’”
