Broken Children...

The word babies, infant, toddler, etc should never have to be used in conjunction with broken bones when describing a person's crime; yet we hear about these stories all the time. Parents get overly frustrated with the mundane challenges that accompany parenthood, like these inhumane societal waste basket-cases didn't get the memo-- Having children ain't E-zay! So to combat the stress endured through all the feedings, pampering, totting around, and constant need for attention, you know, the REAL joys of child rearing, these people release their anger through devilishly fueled acts that will deservedly sully their disgusting reputations for life on the one defenseless blessing from above -- a newborn. The children, the future, that one pure innocence that completely relies on them for life and makes these pieces of scum worthy of relevance, they attempt to bruise and break, or worse. And personally, I'm about ready to go vigilante on these fools; forget a jail sentencing, a cry from the criminals' families pleading for the public's forgiveness, a straight from prison Oprah remorseful "I know now..." interview, or a plea of insanity to misdirect the real focus of the prosecutors and jurors. They use to call me Joe Clark, but now they can call me Batman!

I just don't understand hitting or shaking a child with such force. I can't imagine how men strike a women with all their power-- side note: you ever notice how these "men" who beat women will actually spend a while doing it before the women goes unconscious, I mean Suge Knight was clean clocked cold with one punch. That just shows you how weak these men are, and how strong women really are --let alone fathom how anyone could do this same type of undescribable travesty to a baby or small child. I read story last week about Shaquan Duley, 29, who suffocated her two children, ages 1 and 2, then proceeded to strap them in thei car seats and drive the car into a lake. How many screws do you have to lose for this to become a "logical" decision? I read a story two days ago about Thomas Ampe who caused his 4-week old daughter to arrive to a hospital with 56 fractured bones. His excuse, the child is "“typically fussy and crying from the time he gets home from work until he goes to sleep,” then he admitted to being frustrated with the child on a regular basis. So 56 fractures was his solution. Then, here comes the mother stating "Ampe is a good father, but has very little experience caring for babies". This b*#$h! A GOOD father? I have little experience raising a child of my own, but common sense grounds me to the notion that throwing them, dropping them, or shaking them, just a little, purposefully is NOT GOOD PARENTING traits, nor beneficial to sustaining the health of said child. Its stated that "When frustrated with the child, Ampe would squeeze her, grab her arms and wrists, flip her over, hit her on top of the head with an open hand, give her “a little bit of a shake,” and drop her on her back from as high as one foot above the baby bed". I'm currently bashing away at my keyboard with the fury of an angered Grizzly bear one peck at a time-- trips to Best Buy are always the best on these days. And if all that doesn't disgust you, if all that doesn't seem "that" horrific, if the annoyance of the child driving him to abusive behavior is kind of understood by you, let me just add the newborn has down syndrome.

I can NOT keep reading about stuff like this. I die a little inside every time I read about people like this. I lose my sense of humanity and wish this world could be rid of those so shameful, and start anew. Then I wake up from my dreaming, turn to the news and see a story about Jessica Figueroa, 20.
