Ja Rule's Come Back Interrupted by Prison Sentence

When I Cry, You Cry, We Cry Together...

So, a little birdie on the net, that chirps every time he feels "refreshed" told me, a couple months ago, that Ja Rule was making a comeback. I have not been a Ja Rule fan since RULE 3:36. Wow. I actually had to wiki-up his discography to remember the title. Once he started singing, I started running. And like most people, I ran right into the arms of everyone's neighborhood bully, 50 Cent-- men need hugs too, especially in Hip Hop.

Of course, nothing ever goes as planned when you're trying to make you second comeback-- didn't he release/re-release an album last year. And Ja Rule may be shaking hands with Weezy on his way into Prison while Weezy walks out. Let me pose a quick question,
"If T.I. and Jeffery Atkins share a cell who's
sleeping on top?"
According to just about every hit on the first page of a Ja Rule Google Search...
Ja Rule is to serve two years in jail after pleading guilty to illegally possessing a gun. Police found the weapon in his car when he was stopped in 2007 on the same night that Lil Wayne was booked for carrying a gun on his tour bus....
You need more details? So do I....
The charges stem from a night in July 2007, just after Lil Wayne performed his first-ever headline gig in New York, at the Beacon theatre. The rapper joined Weezy on stage for two songs, but after they left the venue both were pulled over in separate police traffic stops. In Lil Wayne's case, someone casually tossed a Louis Vuitton bag – with a gun inside – from the rapper's tour bus. For Ja Rule, the problem was a luxury sedan with an allegedly suspended registration. After police halted the vehicle they discovered a semiautomatic .40-calibre pistol in the back seat. Ja Rule, his manager and their driver were all booked at the scene.

Whereas Lil Wayne's plea deal, submitted in October 2009, resulted in a one-year jail term Ja Rule has reportedly agreed to a two-year sentence. This will not be formalised until February 2011.

Somebody's out to get these rappers. I heard there's a Secret League of Extraordinarily Racists Gentlemen (SLERGs) ---> check definition 3; I think Limbaugh and O'Reily hazed each other in. Two strategically placed traffic stops. Two elf like rappers arrested carrying WSD's-- Weapons of Self Destruction. Its not cool to be hood prep'd in NY homey. Bloomberg don't play dat shit!

Now, I wish jail on no man, Gucci! Gucci!,  not even for the sake of preserving Hip Hop, Waka! Floppa!, no matter how much I love this music, Nicki Nicki!, I could never, Based God, Based God!, wish a thing such as jail on anyone, Weezy Weezy!  So that fact that Ja "This Nigguh Still Rapp'n" Rule is going in for some 07' shit is just messed up.  But hey, if ya'll are stupid enough to keep that sh*t on you in the whip, you're dumb enough to be forced to sit in a cell and think about it.  This put a huge damper on Ja's new rule that his fans, if the arthritis does't hurt that bad please put your hands up.  As Ja has stated,

What did Ja do to deserve this?  Enough!  And that's all it ever takes.  Minor setback for a MINOR comeback.  Murder Inc. ain't murdered no ink in a long damn time.

But you can't Tweet to your fans and not catch the attention of lurking cynicism. Some body crank that 50 vs. Ja beef, but add some twitter to that Please!

Well, I hope Mr. Atkins uses the time wisely.  Damn, I can't imagine having to worry about going to jail two years from now for something I did.  I guess that's just one of the many things you get to look forward to dealing through when being an iconic rap mogul who's working on a MAJOR comeback.
