I been going through some mug shots of local arrests[they're pure comedy] and I always come across pictures of people who its obvious, don't belong in jail, weren't made for jail, and will probably end up being someone's jailhouse funboy. Make no mistake, this writer right chea, is NOT built for jail either. I'm too pretty for that shyt, plus..... I LIKE GIRLS!


Mr. P here looks like you typical dumbass college student. Drinking and driving is like Russian Roulette 5 rounds loaded in a six shooter. He was also caught with a "controlled substance" that he obviously couldn't control, which is why the police felt the need to step in and give him a hand. Paul, will probably get off easy, but if not, may I suggest getting comfortable sleeping on your back.

Mr. J here is only 23, and decided that a future as a lawyer or maybe even a doctor was too cliche for him. He decided to go Set it Off style and rob a bank. Something tells me, his new prison home will feel more like a brothel.












This guy has obviously never seen OZ, American History X, Lockdown (the show and the movie). Come on dude, really. WTF were you thinking. Whewwww!!! If you didn't know, I swear I told you before. This guy Murs, man this guy..(sigh). Its almost unfathomable what he creates with a mic & a concept. The quoted above from his opening track Fornever on his new album with fruity loops extraordinaire/ college professor 9th Wonder.

If you're not hip to the type of magic these guys make when sharing studio time, then I might just find more interest having a chat with you sir about life in a lost cause dimension, cause you're obviously on another [dull] planet. The album is only 10 tracks long, but its definitely ten strong tracks. From lyricism gone wild on tracks like 'Fornever feat. Kurupt' and 'I Used to Love Her [common remake], ' to more intricately personal tracks like 'Vikki Veil [tale about Mur's past relationship up with porn star Roxy Reynolds] and back on over to the laid back 'Cigarettes & Liquor' or 'Asian Girls', there's definitely something for everyone on this album.

If you're just looking for what I call conversational rap, you'll definitely get a laugh or too from this albums with tracks like 'Let Me Talk feat. Suga Free' where Murs proceeds to try and watch a sports game while his wife nags him. Its a track that many[men] will easily relate to; however, the shining moment on this track easily goes to Suga Free with lines like, "Ya man, she told the judge I hit her. She hit herself in the head wit a bag of apples, And I told her I hate going to yo spot, Cause her daddy can't say nothing unless he put that thing on his neck that make em sound like a robot" and others like, "And you ever been with one or two b*tches in the car, you know she farted but she looking at you like you did it, see yall dirty to us..".

Murs even gives us a hood version of Cinderalla in 'West Coast Cinderella'. With all that said, there's no denying the motivational, fired up track 'The Problem Is...' where Murs lays into the realizations we need to come to as a people, and the Obama-like Change we need to strive for within ourselves for ourselves. Overall, I'd rate the album a 4/5 stars.

This is a warning to all you small penis, self-hating, woman abusing for power pleasure, African rapists out there in the south[Africa]. So what exactly is the definition of a Police State? Maybe its when officers in NY can frequently have accidental shootings of innocently unarmed Black males, even killing one of their own off duty Black officers. Maybe its when transit cops out in CA subdue a cooperative young Black male with force and then proceed to shoot this defenseless young man in the back "by accident" even though he begged not to be tazed (shot) and wasn't resisting. No, no, that's not it. I myself think its probably when officers raid a home with children in it and proceed to "accidentally" shoot a sleeping 7 year old girl because the leading officer "bumped" into her grandmother. There are so many things WRONG with this raid. My biggest question though, is who authorized these cops to use a flash grenade in a home with 3 young children (yes people they knew there were children in the home, f**king toys were outside in the yard). Now this 7 year old is lost to those who love her, and this officer is on PAID administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation into the incident (I hope they set up the investigation into this better then they do their sting operations). Well, at least they apprehended the assailant; guess it was all worth it. 22 years ago, Spike told us to "WAAKE UUUUUUUUUUP!". Seems like we haven't even yawned and wiped the crust out of our eyes yet.
