Looking for drugs, New York man calls cops by mistake

CLARENCE, N.Y. -- A New York man looking to buy drugs misdialed and got the sheriff's "Crime Stoppers" line instead.

Erie County Sheriff's Detective Alan Rozansky says he got a call around noon Monday and answered with his usual "Crime Stoppers." The caller apparently didn't hear that and told Rozansky he was looking "to score" drugs.

Rozansky told WIVB-TV that he was surprised but played along and arranged a meeting with undercover officers. The officers didn't arrest the caller but used him as an informant to lead them to another transaction taking place down the road.

There, police arrested a 35-year-old woman trying to sell her prescription painkillers to a Buffalo man.

The careless caller is off the hook for now.

This is what drugs do to people. Its fucks up the nerves in your fingers so you miss-dial dealers you dial every time you've had a good "Excuse me, Could you Spare Some Change?!" day. It causes hearing loss. And it turns you into a bonafided snitch bitch. Take it like a man son! You made all them mistakes, and still took someone down with you. All she was doing was relieving your pain. It's not her fault you abuse the painkillers. I guess bitch boys hurt alot inside and there's just not enough painkillers in the world to numb that feeling of inadequacy.

Snitching, to some extent, should be a felony. Stupidity like this, should be a misdemeanor offensive. Yes, stupidity can be so offensive that its just pure injustice to my intelligence. This whole story couldn't be more offensive if it was written over the picture of the WB frog in black face dancing beside Radio in a football helmet on a bicycle pouring Aunt Jemima syrup on a double serving of fried chicken n waffles with a side of Pork Skins at a hood cookout with a shootout happening in the background next to a darkskin midget wit a "Spear Chuckers of America" shirt on singing "I wish I was a little bit taller..".
