Earl Sweatshirt (born February 24, 1994), is an American rapper member of the Los Angeles hip hop collective OFWGKTA.
His work
(as well as the work of his fellow OFWGKTA members) is often noted for its mature, often obscene content.[1] His music has been well received online by some music websites, including Altered Zones,[2] Philaflava,[3] Gorilla vs. Bear,[4] Sputnik Music[5] and many more. He recently released his debut solo album, Earl, as a free digital download on the OFWGKTA website.[6] Earl was named the 24th best album of 2010 by Complex.[7]
Comments from band members[8] and a "Free Earl" post on Odd Future's blog[9] indicate that Earl is not currently making music with OFWGKTA.
