Add-2 "Iron Mic" (Prod. by Sundown of Actual Proof)

Looks like my boy Add-2 is dropping that ill stuff, over some Sundown production. I remember Sundown telling me that he was doing more producing than rapping before 9th picked him and Enigma up. Its good to see that he hasn't stopped since he stepped up his lyricism.

Add-2 " Shots Fired "

I don't think I've heard a wack verse or track from the kid Add-2 yet! This production is bananas and his flow is always laced just right. He's constantly dropping this above- average AA lyricism that used to be fading to black in the industry. And now he's just about everywhere laying bars on tracks like this. If you still don't know who Add-2 is, you're missing out. Cassette Tapes video coming soon!

Twan's Top 10 - #8 Add-2 Tale of Two's City Vol 4: Better Days

Add-2's a Tale of Two's City series is always on point. He doesn't disappoint with Vol 4. He balances storytelling with battle rhymes well on the tape. He goes from subjects like killing emcees in the game to talking bout that old feeling that hip hop is losing with ease. Some of the standout tracks on the tape were "DGK" and "Waiting So Long" and "The Feeling is Gone". No only a great emcee, Add-2 is a cool dude. Check back thru some of the old podcast to peep the interview we did with him.

Top 10 of 2010 [Mixtape Edition]: #3 @Add2theMC " Tale Of Two's City, Vol. 4: Better Days "

Add-2 is easily one of the illest lyricists out.  I really wish he'd get enough notice to make the Freshmen Class 2011 list.  This guy never ceases to amaze me with the way he puts bars together and the actual content which perfectly fits the production laced on this mixtape.  This mixtape is one of those SHOULD'VE BEEN AN LP, types.  I would have paid full price twice for this.  His track Cassette Tapes is one of my top 10 tracks of 2010.  Rarely do you have a song that you can wholeheartedly relate with, that just touches on every emotion you feel in this life.  He currently is features on Super Genius from the Actual Proof Talented Tenth mixtape and displays no slackluster what so ever.  Definitely a mixtape that needs to be in rotation for real hip hop heads.

Add-2 "Tale Of Two's City Vol. 4: Better Days" *Mixtape Review**

Black out, Hat low, Spaz Out, Here-we GO!

What happens when you take a conscience rapper from the birth home of common sense and link him with a stellar producer? You get a mixtape that I personally wish I could see on the Billboards. I really want to call this an album. The blend of well-crafted lyricism with relatively divulging substance over beats created from sampled horns, keys, and 70's soul music needs it's own blueprint in hip hop. Hopefully, other artists with a similar sound hear tapes like this and realize how good their music could sound with the write mindset and creativity. Okay, enough with all the praise and worship *1 more bow*. Lets run through some of these tracks...
