Jay-z & Kanye West "Otis" [CDQ] (Prod. by Kanye West)
Welp, here we go again. Didn't take long for the Otis CDQ to drop. Maybe we should thank Game for his Uncle Otis diss. Must of made Jay and Ye feel so sorry for those who listened to him name drop that they decided to drop this to cheer us up. *Clicks Play*

Watch The Throne Documentary... [VIDEO]
Directed by Robert Lopuski
I'll tell you this much, Jay-Z and Kanye West know exactly how to promote this album. Even if the first two leaks from it (H.A.M. may not make the final cut) weren't that great, people have every reason to be hyped about this album. All of the reviews from the listening party have been very positive and people love the random BTS pictures and commentary from other artists like Cyhi. And now, we have this documentary. I just got to keep telling myself, *I WILL NOT BE FOOLED*...*I WILL NOT BE SUCKERED*.

Jay-Z x Kanye West ft. Otis Redding "OTIS"
Let me just point out a few things:
- First off, this is NOT A CDQ.
- Second off, this is NOT STUDIO PRODUCED KANYE QUALITY.
- Third off, THIS IS NOT (what most fans expected would be) KANYE AND JAY-Z QUALITY.
"Otis"
I don't know why, what, who, how, when, where; f*ck it, I just DON'T KNOW. In the very first verse Jay-Z claims "I invented swag". From this point on, you know the song is just a bunch of fugazi ass bravado rap. This is the sh*t that Rick Ross's titties help him write from time to time. I guess one of them must have been in the studio with Jay and Ye-- yes I'm personifying Ross's titties to make a point. The song sounds like a million dollar cluster f*ck. There's nothing inspiring about it. Theres nothing breath-taking about it, unless you decide to commit suicide to make the pain go away.
Otis is a masterpieceofsh*t! The sample isn't even bad. It's actually a great sample and could have been used to make a stellar beat. Instead, Kanye got sloppy like he tends to do these days (check Amber Rose), and put together this beat. So not only is there not a break in the beat to allow for some lyricism to be properly laid, but the beat is a simple fucking loop or the same annoying screams and yells. So now, YES!, Even YOU can make a Kanye Production from the comfort and affordibility of your poor man's studio. Otis reminds me of the slaves that didn't know they were free until almost two years after Lincoln freed them, Unnecessary Struggle! C'monson, with lines like,
"Sophisticated Ignorance, write my curses in cursive"
or,
"Photoshoot Fresh, looking like Wealth"
0r, my favorite so far,
"They ain't seen me since I pulled up in my other benz, last week I was in my other, other benz"
how am I supposed to even attempt to take this song seriously. Now, we all know this isn't the polished version. But for those of you using that argument, I have one simple question. Are They Going To Polish Those Bars Too?

A REAL Pre-Review of Watch The Throne
This is a REAL pre-review! A closed listening session and all we got from Ms. JayTinez was alot of nothing. This person definitely had a more indepth and revealing take of what he was allowed to hear in the private session. Definitely give it a read if you're interested in Watch The Throne. Damn, a song about "unborn sons", iCurious.

There's a devastating song rapped to Kanye and Jay's unborn sons and another called "Black on Black" about intra-racial violence. There's a thwacking dubstep sample and another appearance by the tapped-for-greatness Frank Ocean. When the cycle concluded, Jay opened the floor to a conversation, as he has during recent events of this kind, asking only that reporters put down their notepads and close their iPhones (Some of us didn't). What ensued was a kind of half-professional, half-freewheeling chat....
The recording of this album also inspired a new Jay-Z solo album, for which he has already completed two songs and is honing four more concepts—one of the contest winners actually nabbed the night's biggest scoop, which is that Ocean will also appear on the first single

Angie Martinez Gets Sneak Peek at Watch The Throne
First Off, this is NOT a review! She does even mention one f*cking song title. Hova got her ass on a tight leash yo; her loyalty is real and I gotta say I appreciate that. But still, why is this a f*cking headline ANYWHERE. Basically, Jay-z called her up, she heard a bunch of random ass finished tracks, and she describes the album as "Big Sounding". But she doesn't even know if anything she heard it actually on the album. Oh yea, and she mentions Frank Ocean is Great, but doesn't necessarily say that he has a song on the album either. Sh*t like this should be called Deadlines, not Headlines...
